The Italians have a saying, "The more things change, the more
they are the same"
"To provide our community with a fun, upbeat, family Italian restaurant that will exceed our guests' expectations of food quality, service, and value" For over 20 years we have stayed true to that original mission. Locally owned and operated, our award-winning restaurant has provided jobs and opportunities for an ongoing family of 100+ staff members. We have engaged with countless community members, schools, businesses, organizations, and events that we now call our "Extended Family".
Our food... Cuisine made from scratch, modern in approach, and "Italiano" in spirit. It's no secret that Italian food, homemade from ingredients bought fresh locally, just can't be beat. We proudly utilize the products from our regions local growers, vendors, and suppliers.
Our eclectic atmosphere... Open kitchens, brick ovens, giant chalkboards, and local art provides a great dining experience for the whole family. You're invited to come have some fun and enjoy the uniqueness that makes us "The Street".
Kids Corner / Field Trips
We here at Tomato Street are a very large part of the community. We believe it is important for us to be out in the community but to also invite the community here to see who we are.
By appointment, we open our restaurant between 9:30am and 11am to classrooms or childcare centers for field trips. The students are given a brief tour of the kitchen, front of the store, and then have an informal Q & A session with one of our managers. Sometimes one of our owners (a.k.a The Big Tomato) even stops by to say hi. After the Q&A session, the kids enjoy a pizza lunch on the house and have more time to chat with the staff. We have trivia, interactive games & prizes to make this a fun and informative field trip.
If you are interested in booking a field trip, select Spokane or CDA on the locations tab and email or call us. As a gift to the community we offer these field trips free of charge. See you
at the Street!
